Music has a special ability to bring people together regardless of their differences. At a time when current circumstances have us more isolated than ever before, this program hopes to both make new connections while showing the possibilities of one solo voice. This program for unaccompanied cello bridges the divide between time-honored classical works and diverse contemporary voices from around the world. Eman will weave a thread through these different voices, providing listeners an aural journey through pathos, frivolity, vexation, and joy with the solo cello as their guide.

While attending this event, please follow these protocols for your safety and the safety of others:

  • Do not move tables or chairs. Stay seated at your designated table during the concert unless you are visiting concessions or the restroom.

  • Wear your mask when moving through the venue and while seated at your table, unless you are actively eating or drinking.

  • Wash your hands regularly. Hand sanitizing stations are available for use throughout the venue.

This event is free and open to the public, but reservations are required and seating is limited.

SoNA's appearance at Walton Arts Center is sponsored by Highlands Oncology Group.
