Past Event | Haunted Harmonies: A Halloween Concert
Saturday, October 28, 2023 – 7:30PM
Walton Arts Center, Fayetteville
Program:
A spooky mix of thrilling music celebrating the scariest holiday of them all.
Lawrence Loh, guest conductor
Prepare yourself for this chillingly fun Halloween concert experience! SoNA musicians will play iconic Halloween-ish tunes: think music from popular movies like Jaws, Bride of Frankenstein, Harry Potter, Star Wars, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Witches of Eastwick, and more. They’ll evoke jarring but incredible sounds, and jolt everyone into a celebration of the season. Costumes are encouraged (but certainly not required), so come dressed for a haunting (but family friendly) evening of music!
Guest conductor Lawrence Loh has extensively collaborated with orchestras across the United States and Canada, and has a particular talent and love of accessible and engaging programming that allows a wide range of music-lovers to engage with symphonic music.
