A message of solidarity and SoNA’s commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion

SoNA stands in solidarity with Northwest Arkansas' Black Lives Matter movement, our diverse community, and our region. We will continue to take positions against injustice and intolerance as we serve as allies alongside our musicians, our audience, and the communities we serve.

To our musicians, SoNA's vision is to lead audiences in an "exploration of universal truths and beauty," including the truth that we are all equal. We are only able to advance this work through your actions, artistry and commitment, and we value your voice and how you represent the SoNA values whether on-stage or off. We remain committed to this journey as we continue to listen with open minds, learn, and do our part to fight systemic racism.

On behalf of the SoNA staff and board, sincerely yours,

– Julianne Brown, SoNA Board Chair
– Mike Russell, SoNA Board Vice-Chair
– Paul Haas, Music Director
