Walton Arts Center Atrium

Featuring Lia Uribe, bassoon; Fernando Valencia and Matt Brusca, percussion; Miroslava Panayotova, piano

Inspired by the quote “We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are," by Anais Nin, this recital will present pieces by diverse contemporary composers and compositional styles, unified by the theme of life, uncertainty, and utopias. The program includes pieces by Mario Lavista, Katherine Murdock, Noelia Escalzo, and Jorge Mockert, among others.
